World’s largest meditation centre comes up in Hyderabad

The world’s largest meditation center is to be inaugurated by the end of this month in the South Indian city of Hyderabad in the state of Telangana.

The center, which can accommodate 100,000 people, is located in the global headquarters of Heartfulness, a non-profit organization that encourages a positive way of living with the help of relaxation and meditation techniques. Heartfulness originated at the end of the 20th century was was formalized with the founding of the Ram Chandra Mission in 1945 in India.

The center, which is called Kanha Shanti Vanam, comprises of one main hall and eight secondary halls and is spread across a massive 30 acres.

It will be officially inaugurated on 28th January 2020 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Heartfulness Institute.

It will be dedicated by the current global guide of the institute, Daaji, to the first guide of Heartfulness, who was fondly called Lalaji.
