Pokémon Go is such a craze for a 70-year-old Taiwanese grandpa that he plays it full time, simultaneously on 15 cell phones. Chen San-yuan started playing the augmented reality game after he saw his grandson play it in 2016. ‘Pokémon Grandpa’ hunts down the elusive characters with all his phones strapped on a bicycle. He has become a local celebrity as he pedals through the streets, searching for the quaint little critters. Chen has a special battery pack that lets him play at night too. The retiree spends up to $300 every month to buy a virtual currency that powers the hunt.
