The World Economic Forum’s online Davos Agenda is underway!

The World Economic Forum’s unique Davos Agenda Summit has been underway. It started on 26th January and is being held until 29th January.

This summit is different from the Annual Meeting held in Davos in Switzerland. It provides an opportunity for global government and business leaders to collaborate to become more forward-oriented and push beyond the boundaries of conventional thinking.

The Forum is held in a twin format – both in-person and virtual. The theme for this year’s Forum summit is ‘The Great Reset,’ which represents “a commitment to jointly and urgently build the foundations of the global economic and social system for a more fair, sustainable and resilient future.”

The Davos Agenda Summit saw special addresses by world leaders that included Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany; Emmanuel Macron, President of France; Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation; Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India; Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel; Lee Hsein Loong, Prime Minister of Singapore; Xi Jinping, President of China; and Alberto Fernandez, President of Argentina.

As for 2021, the World Economic Forum will convene the Special Annual Meeting 2021 in Singapore from 25th to 28th May. It will return to Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, for the Annual Meeting 2022.
