Man from San Francisco serves free coffee to essential workers

There are beautiful and inspiring stories of kindness, generosity, and empathy that have been coming from various parts of the world. In these times of crisis, these stories bring much hope to the entire mankind.

Another such beautiful story is that of Ben Ramirez from San Francisco. Ben is an aspiring coffee house owner and has been taking classes. And, with all the coffee supplies that he has at home, he thought that this was the best time to polish off his skills and put them to good use.

“I’ve always wanted to do something out of this window,” Ben, the aspiring barista, said. “You know we have this nice small street where everyone knows each other.”

He is bringing cheer to his neighbourhood and community by serving free coffee to essential workers! Living on Pfeiffer Street, Ben waits by his window on which he has put up a sign that reads ‘Free Coffee.’ When an essential workers such as a healthcare worker passes by, he promptly offers his services of serving them freshly brewed coffee.

To maintain social distancing, Ben passes the coffee to his clients by using his son’s toy gorilla hand.

Isn’t this a heartwarming story of how the smallest act of kindness can go a long way? What do you think? Do let us know your views in the comments section below.
