Like most other kids her age, Havana, a two-year old from Shepparton, Victoria, is a huge fan of Toy Story – the famous Disney franchise.
About her daughter’s love for the movie franchise, her mother, Amy Baldi said, “We put it on one day when she was only a one-year-old and ever since then she’s absolutely loved it.”
Now, it was Havana’s second birthday on 11th May and due to the lockdown, she was spending the birthday in isolation.
This was when her grandfather, Edward, decided to give her a fantastic surprise by dressing up as Sheriff Woody from the famous franchise, leaving his grand daughter awe struck.
A video recorded by Amy beautifully captures the moments when her father Edward turns up as Sheriff Woody to Havana’s second birthday party. And while the toddler shies away in fright at first, her grandfather reassures her that it was her ‘pop’ who had come dressed as her favorite hero. Needless to say, Havana warms up to her surprise guest, accepting her birthday gifts from him later.
Amy admitted that she was unaware that her father would turn up dressed as Sheriff Woody.
“His partner told us to be ready for when he was coming around and then he got out of the car dressed up as Woody,” she said.
And while she had initially planned to have a Toy-story themed birthday party for her daughter, the lockdown and social gathering restrictions prevented her from doing so.
This is a testimony to the pure love a grandfather has for his grandchild!
