Did you realize that we are experience palindrome dates since the last few days?

Palindrome dates, dates that can be read the same forward and backward, started from 20th January 2021 and will last until 29th January 2021.

Of course, this is for those that follow the American date system of MM/DD/YY. So, 20th January 2021 (1/20/21) was the first of the palindrome dates that will last until 1/29/21.

However, people that use the DD/MM/YY format — like in the UK — will not experience any such palindrome fun.

Later this year, we will experience more palindrome dates — beginning with 12/1/21 and going until 12/9/21.

What is a palindrome?
Coming from two Greek words “palin,” which means “again, back” and “dromos,” meaning “running,” palindrome is a word, phrase, or sequence that reads the same backwards as forwards.

Some examples of palindromic words are civic, radar, level, rotor, kayak, reviver, racecar, madam, and refer. Some examples of palindromic phrases are “rats live on no evil star,” “never odd or even” and “a man, a plan, a canal, Panama.”

P.S: Did you know that the phrase “A Toyota’s a Toyota” can continue as a palindrome forever, as in, “A Toyota’s a Toyota’s a Toyota…”
