Boy’s heartbreaking letter to Santa asking whether God loves him goes viral

A little boy’s heartwarming letter to Santa Claus is going viral and striking a chord with many netizens across the world.

A photo of the letter, which was written by Will as part of the United States Postal Service (USPS) Operation Santa initiative, was posted on Twitter and has been liked and shared thousands of times since.

“Do you support the LGBTQ community and if you can speak to god can you tell Him I love him,” Will wrote. “…and if he loves me for being gay?” Will wrote to Santa.

Operation Santa allows children to write letters to Santa during the Christmas season. The initiative then makes it possible for individuals and organizations to adopt these letters and send responses and thoughtful gifts in Santa’s place.
