Renowned American singer Barbra Streisand has recently gifted George Floyd’s six-year-old daughter Gianna Floyd with shares from Disney.

In an Instagram post, Gianna shared an adorable message thanking the Hollywood music icon that read, “Thank You @barbrastreisand for my package, I am now a Disney Stockholder thanks to you.”

Gianna is seen smiling in the picture as she holds the share certificate.

The value of the shares was not revealed, however.

The 78-year-old Hollywood icon also gifted Gianna two of her albums, “My Name Is Barbra” and “Color Me Barbra.”

A representative for Streisand confirmed the gift saying, “We confirm the information in the recent Instagram by George Floyd’s daughter, Gianna, concerning a gift to her from Barbra Streisand.”

However, Streisand is not the only high-profile celebrity to have reached out to Floyd’s family. Gianna and her mother Roxie Washington have received an outpouring of love and support from all quarters post George Floyd’s unfortunate death in police custody in Minneapolis.

Boxing icon Floyd Mayweather aided the family in conducting a memorial service for Floyd. Also, rapper Kanye West set up a college fund for little Gianna to pay for her tuition in future.

Further, Texas Southern University announced that it would provide full scholarship to Gianna when she reaches college age, provided she chooses to attend the university.

Kudos to all the people helping out to ensure that Gianna has a secure and bright future!
