Vietnam’s National Assembly ratified the 11-country deal to slash tariffs across a majority of the Asia-Pacific region, becoming the seventh country to sign the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). Australia, Canada, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, and Singapore have already ratified the pact.
