This Symmetrical Photo of a Bald Eagle is Going Viral

Steve Biro, a Canadian photographer, captured one of the best ever pictures of a bald eagle. And it is going viral for all the right reasons.

Earlier this month, Biro captured a bald eagle flying over a pond. What makes this picture magnificent is that the eagle’s reflection shows in the pond below, creating a beautiful, perfect, and symmetrical oval. The eagle is staring directly into the camera, and the tips of his huge wings are just touching the surface of the water.

The shot was taken at the Canadian Raptor Conservancy.

Since Biro put up the picture on his Instagram handle, it is going viral for all the right reasons. Photography and wildlife enthusiasts can’t stop going gaga over the shot.

“There was a large rock right at the water’s edge where I laid down beside and rested my upper body on trying to get as low as possible,” Biro explained to USA Today/For The Win Outdoors.

“He flew across the pond several times and was not happy where I was, which turned out good for me as he was staring right at me quite a bit. He also was flying close enough to my head for me to feel the breeze from his wings, but I was determined to keep shooting.”

“I have many wonderful images from the visit but loved the symmetry of this one in particular. And the way he is staring right through me and looking mean and powerful just blew me away.”

And we couldn’t agree more!

What do you think of this majestic bird? Doesn’t it look absolutely glorious?
