Ex PMs of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and
journalist Cyril Almeida have appeared before a three-member bench of Lahore High Court on treason case.
Sharif is accused of committing treason for labeling allegation against army and secret services that they knew about 2008 Mumbai attacks, in which total 160 persons were killed.
Dawn reporter Cyril Almeida was named in the petition for having allegedly abetted Sharif. Former PM Abbasi, who succeeded Sharif, is accused of having leaked national security secrets to Sharif.0
