Korean legend is that Queen Suriratna of Ayodhya married a Korean king 2,000 years ago.

South Korean First Lady Kim Jung-sook’s visit to India throws light on 2,000-year-old ties. Kim will visit Ayodhya, the mythical birthplace of Hindu god Ram, from where legendary Queen Suriratna hails. Legend has it that she married Prince Kim Suro of Korea’s Kimhae city and began Karak dynasty, of which 6 million of Korea’s 52 million people claim ancestry.
