A 27-year-old from Connecticut Cassie De Pecol, who had set her mind to visit every country of the world and familiarize herself with different cultures, materialized her dreams. She has broken over two Guinness records in the process, becoming the youngest American and the fastest traveller to achieve the feat. She covered 196 countries in a matter of just 18 months. This cost her around $111,000 in total.
Cassie did not admit defeat despite running out of funds halfway through her journey and managed to complete her mission.
Now, Cassie is an ambassador of peace, working on behalf of the International Institute for Peace Through Tourism. Inspirational, isn’t it?
