Highly anticipated Geneva Motor Show begins from 7 March

The International Geneva Motor Show for 2019 is due to begin in Geneva, Switzerland from the 7th of March. It will last for ten days until 17th March and will be held at the Palexpo Convention Centre.

The show is touted as one of the biggest and most anticipated events of the global auto industry. Its first edition was held way back in 1905 and since then, the exhibition has gained prominence across the world as a playing ground for the biggest automakers of the world. The biggest automakers unveil their latest models here. And this year will be no different.

The 2019 Geneva Motor Show is the first major European auto show of the year. According to experts, this year’s show will be dominated by electric and hybrid cars.

Here are a few cars that will be showcased at the event:

Ferrari will unveil its new F8 Tributo whereas Lamborghini is set to debut EVO Spyder, the latest convertible version of its Huracan supercar. Meanwhile, Aston Martin is also set to unveil Project 003 – its brand new hybrid hypercar. But it’s not just supercars that will debut at the show.

A host of SUVs and electric cars will also be unveiled. For instance, Volvo will bring in its Polestar 2 sedan that has been designed to give tough competition to Tesla’s Model 3. The likes of Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Volkswagen, Bentley, and Mercedes are all going to be there to show their latest models.
