Want some cheer in the otherwise mundane lockdown life that you are living? Not finding ways to kill the blues and the boredom?

Here is your answer!

Google is bringing back some of its most popular Google doodle games from its archives to help kill the boredom we all are facing due to the lockdown. Starting today for the next two weeks, Google is featuring a series of ten of its most classic and popular interactive doodle games.

Today kicked off with a memorable ‘Coding for Carrots’ game from 2017, where the player has to guide a rabbit to a carrot by using a combination of simple commands. The game was originally designed in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Scratch platform to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Logo, the very first programming language for children.

On its page, it said, “As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, people and families everywhere are spending more time at home. In light of this, we’re launching a throwback Doodle series looking back at some of our popular interactive Google Doodle games!”

In today’s doodle, while one ‘O’ is part of a computer, the other ‘O’ of the word Google has been designed into a player, who is frantically typing keys on the keyboard, playing these interesting throwback games. On hovering on the word ‘Google,’ one sees the message: ‘Stay and play at home popular past Google doodles.’

We can’t thank Google enough for bringing in ways for us to beat the lockdown blues. Have you played these classic games yet? Do let us know in the comments section below!
