Winter will come in April 2019 for fans of the fantasy drama series ‘Game of Thrones.’ HBO has confirmed that the final season of the series will premiere in April next year. In the six-episode season, the fate of central characters such as Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) will be decided. The announcement was made from the Game of Thrones Twitter account. HBO has also launched a global marketing campaign under the hashtag #FortheThrone for the same.
Game of Thrones is one of the most loved and anticipated series, with a solid fan base across the world. With 47 wins, it has also won the most number of Primetime Emmy Awards than any other TV series.
