Becoming one of the first few Silicon Valley companies to launch a massive vaccination drive, Apple Inc. is initiating a program to help its employees get vaccinated against COVID-19 in its offices.

The Cupertino-based technology behemoth is collaborating with famous drugstore chain Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. to enable its employees to get a jab at its offices.

The company said it will roll out a website to help its workers to sign up and book appointments.

Earlier, Apple encouraged all its staff to get vaccinated against the deadly disease, offering paid leave to employees to get vaccinated or recover from the symptoms.

Despite these initiatives, Apple has not confirmed on when it would like its employees to return to its work offices.

However, Apple is not the only large organization to start such a vaccine drive. Amazon Inc. has been working on vaccinating its frontline workers since March this year. Also, Facebook and Google have come up with several initiatives to aid the general public in getting access to vaccinations.
