21-year-old German, Alexander Zverev stunned world number one Novak Djokovic to win the ATP finals in London, undeniably the biggest win of his career till date. He defeated Djokovic in straight sets 6-4 6-3 to win his maiden ATP title.
Zverev’s journey to the finals of the tournament was an eventful one. While he lost to Djokovic in the round-robin stage, he defeated Roger Federer in the semi-finals to reach the finals. In the process, he became the first to beat both Federer and Djokovic in the same ATP final.
