Children have a heart of gold. Period. And this story goes on to reinforce the same.

Five-year-old Micheal from Michigan was at the courthouse in Grand Rapids for a regular adoption hearing with his foster parents. But to accompany him, he had an unconventional group of supporters.

Micheal’s entire kindergarten class was present in the courthouse to support him, showing him love and support by waving big red hearts on wooden sticks.

Doesn’t this just bring a smile to your face and a tear to your eye? But there is more!

This entire idea was the brainchild of Micheal’s teacher – Mrs. Kerry McKee of Wealthy Elementary School, who wanted to make this day special for Micheal. She then arranged for a bus, organized the entire plan, and gave Micheal and his friends a day to remember and cherish.

Micheal’s adoptive father, David Eaton said that the best part of the day was when the judge asked the children in the room to describe what Micheal meant to them. His father was surprised and touched the responses that he heard. “I love Michael” or “Michael’s my best friend,” said a few of Micheal’s peers.

Micheal’s new parents have been married for ten years and Micheal has been living with them since the last Thanksgiving as a foster child.

The judge, though, admitted that this was the first time in her entire career that an entire kindergarten class came in for a hearing.

Isn’t this just a beautiful gesture from these kids? This made our day! What do you have to say about Micheal and his friends? Do let us know your views in the comments section below.
