Goodness and love in the world still exist. And the story below is a quintessential example of this fact.

This is the holiday season and all of us do not think twice before ordering items from the various online shopping sites such as Amazon. But do we care to think of all those people that work relentlessly to get our orders delivered to us on time?

Kathy Ouma from Wilmington in Delaware also ordered some stuff for the holiday season from Amazon. But, she certainly is a lot more empathetic than most of us. Outside her house, Ouma left a basket full of goodies such as cookies, crackers, soda, and water for the delivery personnel. She also put in a note that said, “Please take some goodies to enjoy on your route. Thank you for making holiday shopping easy.”

Isn’t this just awesome? But, the goodness in the story doesn’t end here.

Karim Ahmad-Reed, an Amazon employee, came in to drop an order for Ouma and noticed this basket full of goodies. He was surprised and extremely pleased to see the snacks and picked up a few packets for himself.

And the excitement of finding some good food when he needed it most made him break into a celebratory dance.

Interestingly, this video of him breaking into the dance was captured on Ouma’s ring doorbell camera and she immediately put it up on Facebook. And in no time, the video went viral with over 12 million views. Netizens have been appreciating Ouma for her wonderful gesture and Ahmad-Reed for his spontaneous and endearing reaction.

The video posted by Ouma shows Ahmad-Reed dropping off the package at Ouma’s door and then inspecting the basket

“Oh, this is nice,” he’s heard exclaiming, as he leans over to see the snacks left out for people delivering holiday packages. “Wow, oh this is sweet.”

And then, he walks away with some packets and breaks into an impromptu jig!

In an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle, Ahmed-Reed said, “This was the first delivery I’ve seen with snacks at the door for drivers,” he says. “I forgot my lunch that day and was hungry and a little dehydrated.”

“I was extremely surprised yet humbled,” he said. “Just doing my job to help the people receive their packages in good timing.”

“She’s a jewel and great human being. I am grateful to have brought her some happiness, as she has to me,” he says. “The world needs more love.”

And that we agree with. The world certainly needs more love!
