Airbnb is taking the experience for the customer to another level! It now has its first royal property listed on its portal.

The royal family from Jaipur in India has listed a room in its majestic 300-year-old City Palace of Jaipur for a whopping $7, 893 per night on Airbnb. This is the private quarters of the palace, which has previously been open to royals and their special guests. Interestingly, this palace has been previously visited by prominent guests such as Jackie Kennedy, Princess Diana, Bill Clinton, and Oprah Winfrey.

This Gudliya Suite of the palace, which has its own kitchen, lounge, and indoor swimming pool, will be available to customers starting 23rd November.

The luxurious palace was built in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II and it still home to the royal family of Jaipur. While India is a democracy, the royals still hold prominence in this region.

“I am thrilled that my family and I are partnering with Airbnb to bring the splendor of Rajasthan to life for travelers from around the world,” Maharaja Padmanabh Singh, the 21-year-old monarch of Jaipur, said in a statement. “My own travels with Airbnb have made me feel very welcome in new cities and cultures, and I am happy that the experience of quintessential Indian hospitality will be shared with others.”

And what facilities do you get in staying at the palace? You are guaranteed to be treated like a royal!

When you arrive at the airport, you will be driven to the palace in a chauffeur-driven car. Here, you are assigned to a private butler, who will escort you around. A staff of the palace will take you on a guided tour of the palace and help you understand its heritage, art, and architecture. And if you are in the mood to leave the palace, you will also be taken on guided tours of the city.

But the luxury does not end there.

Against the backdrop of peacock-filled gardens, you can enjoy sumptuous and authentic Rajasthani meals in the in-house restaurant of the palace.

The proceeds from this will go to the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation, which is a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting and empowering rural women and the people of Rajasthan.

When are you booking your stay at the luxurious palace? We can’t wait to make our bookings!
