Ben Francis was just 19 when he started Gymshark, a sportswear brand.

He was a full-time student at Aston University by the day, a pizza delivery boy at night, and the founder of Gymshark all day and night.

After two years of hard work, Gymshark hit £250,000 in annual revenues. This is when Ben decided to quit both university and the delivery job.

To build the brand, Ben sent free clothing to social media influencers, prominent fitness personalities, and bodybuilders, expecting them to talk about it on social media and, thus, luring shoppers into buying Gymshark products.

That happened, and with loads of hard work, today Gymshark has more than 2.4 million followers on Instagram and over 1.5 million on Facebook.
