Burger King has taken on its competitor McDonald’s in a big way. And it has launched its range of ‘Real Meals’ to counter the ‘Happy Meals’ of McDonald’s. The ‘Real Meals’ cater to a wide variety of moods, ranging from feeling blue to being ecstatic!

These meals have been released as a campaign to spread more awareness about May being Mental Health Awareness Month. Burger King has collaborated with Mental Health America, a non-profit organization that aims to promote overall mental health in the United States of America.

Here are the five meals that have been released: Pissed Meal, Blue Meal, Salty Meal, YAAAS Meal, and DGAF (Don’t Give A F***) Meal. Phew! We certainly believe that they have been designed for the moods that we feel across our daily lives.

These meals that include a Whopper sandwich, a drink, and some french fries have been released with the tagline: “No one is happy all the time. And that’s OK.” Isn’t this a real and a true thing?

And the meals have been received enthusiastically by the public. Here are a few reactions on social media:

I am kinda diggin’ this advert and vibe! Also getting hungry! Lol #feelyourway #burgerking https://t.co/bYoTzXvYdd pic.twitter.com/97pjDHpJ1Z

These meals are only limited-edition ones and will be available in select cities such as New York City, Miami, Austin, Seattle, and Los Angeles.

But, we believe that with this innovative and ingenious marketing campaign, Burger King has killed two birds with one stone. Apart from just spreading more awareness about mental health, it has also poked fun at its competitor McDonald’s.

What’s your take on these meals? We can’t wait to dig into these! What mood are you in today?
