Priya Parker on how to turn everyday get-togethers into transformative gatherings

Priya Parker, the author of The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why it Matters, recently delivered a TED talk on how to turn your parties, dinners, meetings and holidays into meaningful, transformative gatherings. Through her talk, she is helping us understand how we can create meaningful gatherings.

Priya Parker has spent 15 years helping community leaders across the world have complex conversations among their own people. Being trained in conflict resolution, she has worked on developing race relations in American colleges, Arabic countries, Southern Africa and India. She is a master facilitator and a strategic advisor to many communities and groups.

Parker has studied Organizational Design from the Harvard Kennedy School. She is also a founding member of the Sustained Dialogue Campus Network and is a member of the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council. She is also a senior expert position at Mobius Executive Leadership.

Her book has been awarded the Best Business Book of the year by The Financial Times, Bloomberg, Esquire Magazine and Amazon.
