23-year-old Miss Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh won the Miss World crown recently.
But, there was another beauty queen that really won the hearts of people. And it was Miss Nigeria, Nyekachi Douglas!
Read on to know why.
So, the last three contestants – Miss Nigeria, Nyekachi Douglas, Miss Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh, and Miss Brazil, Elis Coelho – were on stage in the final moments of the contest. One of the three would be crowned Miss World 2019.
And when Singh was announced the winner, Miss Nigeria – Nyekachi Douglas’ reaction was priceless. Instead of brooding over her loss, she broke into a rapturous celebration. She broke into an impromptu jig, stomping her feet on the ground and screaming in elation. She then enveloped the other two contestants on stage in a warm group hug!
