16-year-old climate activist from Sweden, Greta Thunberg was in news recently for being TIME magazine’s Person of the Year. And Greta has, indeed, been in the news throughout the year for her activism on climate change.

She has, almost singlehandedly, raised awareness among the youth in various nations across the world of the perils of climate change. She has also pressurised governments to take action against this global pressing problem.

However, Greta does have some critics, one of which is the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

After she beat Donald Trump to winning the Person of the Year, the President mocked the teenager on Twitter.

“Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!” Trump wrote.

Greta, being the feisty teenager that she is, promptly changed her Twitter bio to read: “A teenager working on her anger management problem. Currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend.”

Many eminent people called out to the President, 73, criticizing him for his derogatory remarks.

And Greta received a wave of support online. One such person that she received support from was the former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama.

Without mentioning the President, Michelle Obama gave a piece of beautiful advice to Greta, tweeting “don’t let anyone dim your light.”

Isn’t this just a wonderful message that brightens your day?
