Tom Cruise needs no introduction. One of the highest-grossing actors of all time, Cruise is also known for his action movies such as the Mission Impossible series. He is widely regarded as a daredevil who insists on performing his own dangerous stunts.

But, would you believe it when we say that Cruise is now working with NASA to film a movie in outer space!!

Yes, you heard it right!

Jim Bridenstine, the administrator of NASA, has confirmed that Cruise is collaborating with NASA to film a movie aboard the International Space Station (ISS)!

He tweeted, “Nasa is excited to work with Tom Cruise on a film aboard the Space Station!”

The ISS is a research laboratory that orbits 250 miles above the Earth in which astronauts conduct a wide range of experiments ranging from human biology to meteorology.

A few films have been shot aboard the ISS before, which include a IMAX documentary Space Station 3D, released in 2002, that was narrated by Tom Cruise himself.

While more details of the movie have not been known, it has been reported that this one would not be a part of the Mission Impossible series. For now, when and how Cruise would travel to space, and who would accompany him is unclear.

We can’t wait for more details of this movie! This sure sounds extremely exciting! What do you say?
