The mascot for the 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships
The official mascot for the Championship is Falah, an athletic falcon dressed in the maroon colour of the Qatari flag. It was created by Theodore Paul Manuel, a Filipino expat living in Qatar since 2010. The mascot was selected after dozens of sketches were submitted to the organizing committee and a multi-stage voting process was duly followed.
Falah has five main values: he is competitive, courageous, fun, helpful, and loyal.
