HBO released the trailer for the final season of the fantasy TV series Game of Thrones recently. After much anticipation and waiting, fans got a peek into what this final season has in store. And to say that it will be an exciting and dark season is an understatement.
The 2-minute trailer was released on Twitter, with the simple message: “the trailer is here.”
It gives the audience a glimpse of all the main characters while opening with Arya Stark panting heavily in the darkness of the crypts of Winterfell. In the background, her voice resonates when she speaks about the threat from the White Walkers and says, “I know death, it’s got many faces. I look forward to seeing this one.”

All the characters are seen getting ready for their battle with the White Walkers and the army of the dead. Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen reach Winterfell with their army. Jaime Lannister is seen saying, “I promised to fight for the living. I intend to keep that promise.” Bran and Sansa Stark, along with Cersei Lannister are also seen in the trailer. At the end of the trailer, the Night King also make an appearance.
The final season of this most loved TV series starts on April 14th.
Game of Thrones is not just one of the most loved, but also one of the most acclaimed TV shows of all time. It has received 47 Primetime Emmy Awards till date and this is more than any other scripted TV series ever.
If the trailer is an indication of the season to follow, this is probably going to be the most exciting season ever! And we can’t wait to watch the war between the living and the dead!
