Halloween is here! And so is the best time of the year. This is the season that brings in spookiness, fun, and some tang to the otherwise mundane life that we lead.

The Addams Family (1991)

This supernatural black comedy movie with its sophisticated humour fits the bill perfectly for the Halloween season. See this movie to know what happens when con artists plan to swindle a ghoulish and eccentric family using an accomplice who claims to be their long-lost uncle?

Halloweentown (1998)

Best enjoyed with a tub full of popcorn, Halloweentown is about a grandma, played by Debbie Reynolds, who wants to train her grandaughter to become a witch. And it is about the town of Halloweentown in which dark forces have arrived. We won’t give more away. Watch this gripping flick yourself!

Coraline (2009)

Ahhh! One of those must-watch ones for this season. Coraline, voiced by Dakota Fanning, is a young girl, neglected by her parents. She discovers a secret door to an alternate and dark world, where everybody treats her wonderfully and has buttons as eyes. What happens through her journey is the story of Coraline.

Hocus Pocus (1993)

Not all Halloween movies must be only scary. Some of them could be hilarious and scary and this flick is one of them! Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy play 300-year old diabolical witches executed in the 17th century who are now unleashing mayhem in present-day Salem.

Rosemary’s Baby (1968)

This psychological horror movie is about a young couple moving into an apartment and encountering peculiar neighbours. The wife, played by Mia Farrow gets pregnant mysteriously and begins to believe that her neighbours have designs on the baby. However, she must learn and face the truth about her baby, her husband, and her life!

The Conjuring (2013)
