Your daily one hour commute to work and back is now cut down to a little more than 10 steps from the living room to your study. Wait, you could actually be working from your bedroom while you work from home, and that gives you even more time on hand.

And you could certainly use this time to make the most of the things that you have, such as making the most of your Amazon Prime membership!

I am certain that you could use some recommendations on what to watch on Amazon Prime with all the extra time in hand. Here are favourite five:

1. Expanse

This one is set in a futuristic world straight out of Elon Musk’s imagination where humans are a multi-planet species. And, unlike what Elon would have thought, we are waging interplanetary war on each other. This is an action packed and thrilling series that is also one of Jeff Bezos’s list of must watch on Prime!

Dig in, but be warned that it will engulf your thoughts and add some belta lingo to your vocabulary!

2. The New Yorker Presents

What better use of time than to watch something entertaining and educating at the same time. This series brings documentaries, poems, films, and interviews based on content from The New Yorker.

Go ahead and get yourself a dose of some cultural education.

3. ZeroZeroZero

Love mafia series? This is the one that will satiate your desire.

This is an addictive thriller series that chases a large shipment of cocaine traveling from South America to Europe. During the course, the mafia and corrupt businessmen fight over each other to gain an upper hand on the transaction. This one is crack!

Let me warn you: you will miss the series once it is over.

4. PHILIP K. DICK’S ELECTRIC DREAMS

This is perhaps Amazon’s best answer to Netflix’s Black Mirror series. You’d be on the edge of your seats wondering how close to reality these crazy dreams are!

Definitely something not for the faint hearted but entertaining and must watch nevertheless.

5. Hunters

This Al Pacino starrer post-World War II series follows the trails of Nazi hunters in 1977 New York. If you’re a lover of war movies and crime investigation series, you are up for a treat. Hunters packs the best of both and delivers a gripping series in this wonderful series.

Have you watched any of these already? If not, grab that popcorn and set this up on auto-play! Let us know how you liked our recommendations.
